|Heavenly Father we again pray for the victims of terrorist atrocities such as those who suffered at the hands of a suicide bomber on the St. Petersburg metro. We pray also for the victims of the alleged chemical weapons’ attack in Syria last Tuesday. Lord we fail to understand why these atrocities take place and what they achieve. We pray for more compassion, tolerance and understanding in our world so that we can all live in peace. We continue to pray for the victims of war and war related famine in Africa and Yemen. We earnestly pray that all the various parties involved will cease their hostilities so that peace and prosperity may return once more to these stricken areas. We pray that as 2017 progresses answers will be found to these difficult questions.|
