Heavenly Father we pray this week for the sad, the lonely; those people that find themselves alone in the world.  Uplift their spirits so that they feel part of their community and are able to take part in events around them.  We also pray for the sick and those in pain.  We give thanks for the doctors and nurses who treat and look after their patients so well.  Finally we pray for the bereaved that you will give them support to get through their grief of losing a loved one.
