SueI was born in Leicester, and lived in various places in Leicestershire until my mid teens when my Dad's job took the family to Suffolk. As well as working full time my Dad led several village chapels over the years as a lay Pastor. At age 13 I realised that I had to make my own decision to be a Christian I couldn't rely on my parents faith, Jesus had died to forgive my sins and he wanted me to follow him.

After leaving school I worked in a residential nursery before training in Birmingham to become a Paediatric nurse.  After many years in nursing I had a complete change of career and with a friend opened a needlecraft shop in Sutton In Ashfield.

In 1989 following marriage I moved to Sheffield and went back to nursing part time, then in 1992 with my husband and business colleague and her husband  we all moved to Norfolk to run a Christian bookshop, I continued nursing part time.

By 1999 I was on my own, still working part time as a nurse, and also managing another Christian bookshop run by my local church.

Despite some difficult years I was conscious that God was with me and knew the plans he had for me.  In 2003 I felt God calling me to Reader Ministry and was licensed in 2007 just after retiring from nursing.  I continued to manage the Christian Bookshop until 2010 when I felt God directing me to move back closer to my roots in the East Midlands where I also have very good long standing friends.

I moved to Radcliffe in November 2011 and was welcomed into the family of the church. By January 2012 I was preaching and leading services, and look forward to continuing to serve in whatever ways God directs.
